Introduction

Arsenal FC is one of London’s most successful football clubs and one of the most famous names in modern football with millions of passionate followers worldwide.

Steeped in history and tradition, Arsenal Football Club has thrived on a pioneering and innovative spirit that has existed throughout its 125 years in existence.

We have worked with Arsenal football club for a number of years on a variety of projects for different departments within the club. More recently we have been working on the Matchday Hospitality side.

The majority of hospitality across the two premium tiers at Emirates Stadium is sold on a seasonal basis however a small allocation of under 300 seats (from 9,000) are held back for sale on a match-by-match basis. We worked on various designs for Flash animated digital adverts which are displayed in a number of places including large displays at Gatwick airport.

We created a bold visual language based around the tagline ‘THE FINEST FOOTBALL EXPERIENCE’. Using a single colour paired with signature Arsenal gold, layered with an image one of the iconic Arsenal stars balanced with an image from the hospitality suites created a varied toolbox from which to create the range of advertising the club needed.

We delivered digital banners, Flash adverts, email graphics, and print advertising. These have been shown on the Financial Times website and in the paper, on 6ft digital boards at Gatwick airport, and various digital and print adverts for a number of websites and publications.

Results

We delivered a creative that enticed people to find out more, selling luxury as well as getting people excited about the upcoming matches. We attracted New Business to buy Matchday Hospitality and aim to assist in increasing Matchday Hospitality revenue.
