Sales / New Business Manager

The Graphic Design House offers, strength, stability and positioning. We are an independent division of Bishops Printers one of Southern UK’s largest print companies. We are a friendly, straight talking team of 25 offering effective and outstanding thinking and design. Services focus on what’s appropriate to support our clients to achieve their goals and as you might expect includes strategy, branding and of course the design of a wide variety of collateral used both on line and offline.
We are looking for a Sales Manager/ New Business Manager to increase the number of clients we work with in the south of the UK including Hampshire, Surrey and Dorset and grow income from the commercial sector in particular.
You need to be comfortable delivering short, medium and longer term sales expectations. Have a demonstrable track record of achievements .Used to selling and marketing a service, preferably a creative service and helping a company to stand out from the crowd. We have in place a new marketing function which is currently trailing a variety of lead generation activities and a new website and collateral are in production.
The role needs high levels of energy and initiative, from identifying how our services can be ‘productised’ and working with marketing to devise, create and launch such’ products’ through to uncovering specific companies and opportunities that are relevant and securing contracts with them.
Although predominantly office based this role will require you to visit prospects and present bespoke proposals and presentations that you have generated. A pool company car is available for these visits.
You will have a strong background in both sales and marketing, with demonstrable skills in building relationships and revenues from a new account base. A number of years’ experience agency-side would be of benefit as would a thorough understanding and knowledge of marketing, branding and solution selling.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3-5+ years' experience
