Women in Sport

The client

Founded in 1984, Women in Sport is the longest-standing charity dedicated to advancing gender equality in sport. The organisation works to challenge persistent inequalities affecting women and girls, underpinned by expert insight, research and a deep understanding of lived experience.

Through evidence-based research and advocacy, Women in Sport champions access to sport for women and girls, highlighting its role in supporting wellbeing, addressing health inequalities and contributing to a more equitable society.

The brief

Women in Sport produces a series of research reports each year, each addressing a key issue affecting women and girls in sport. This report, The Rise of the Gender Dream Deficit in Sport, needed to present complex research findings in a way that encouraged reader engagement while remaining fully aligned with the organisation’s established brand guidelines.

With format and page count predetermined, the challenge was to structure and design a data-heavy publication that was clear, balanced and accessible without overwhelming the reader.
